District Continuous Improvement (DCI)

Improving Learning Outcomes

District Continuous Improvement (DCI) is a process to ensure continuous growth for students and educators. District leadership teams engage with a statewide system of support to set goals, provide training, coaching, and feedback throughout the year.

Ensure student learning with

Research Based Instructional Practices

DCI districts are assigned to a statewide support team and use staff survey data to identify a ‘practice of focus’ for each school year based on need. Based on the work of educational author and researcher Dr. John Hattie and others, these research based practices include developing assessment capable learners (DACL), data-based decision making (DBDM), metacognition, and others.
